Mission: To empower sustainable agriculture and food security in Africa by delivering high-quality farm produce and reliable agribusiness investments. We aim to combine traditional farming knowledge with modern practices so that our crops and livestock feed people, nourish the land, and generate strong returns for our investors and partners.

OUR STORY
From a young age, farming wasn’t just a pastime – it was my passion and my dream. I grew up roaming Ghana’s countryside, mesmerized by the vibrant fields and hard-working farmers. As I got older, I traveled across the length and breadth of the country and even to far-flung corners of the world, visiting farms to learn different techniques and soak in global agricultural wisdom. Every new field and every farmer taught me something invaluable about cultivating the land and caring for livestock, and my childhood fascination blossomed into a lifelong vocation.
By 2018 I turned that passion into action, founding Eddmart – a venture that connected people to fresh produce and farming opportunities. My journey as an agribusiness expert took flight, helping individuals and investors grow their wealth through agriculture. In 2020, as our vision expanded, Eddmart evolved into EdOak Farms.
Today, our headquarters and farms span the fertile Northern and Eastern Regions of Ghana – especially the lush Afram Plains. We grow an abundant mix of grains, fruits and vegetables, and we also raise healthy herds of cattle, goats, sheep and pigs. This blend of crop and livestock farming allows us to supply wholesome food and animal products.
What began as a personal dream has become a shared endeavor. At EdOak Farms we now manage farms for individuals and corporate partners alike, ensuring everyone can participate in and benefit from Ghana’s agricultural richness. We work closely with factories and organizations to supply quality ingredients, and our team of farmers, agronomists and investors continues to grow. Our passion for farming and our commitment to expansion drive us to bring sustainable, profitable agriculture to more communities, investors and consumers than ever before.

OUR PRACTICES
At EdOak Farms, how we farm is as important as what we farm. We employ sustainable farming practices that respect the environment and community. For example, our fields in the Afram Plains use natural fertilizer and crop rotation to keep the soil healthy, and we invest in efficient irrigation and solar-powered equipment to conserve resources. We integrate modern technology and innovation too: GPS-guided tractors, drones for crop monitoring, and digital tracking systems help us maximize yields while reducing waste.
Quality Production: From seed to harvest, we enforce strict quality standards. Our produce and meat go through rigorous checks to ensure freshness and safety – whether it’s the corn and rice we grow or the beef, pork and goat meat we supply.
Sustainable Agriculture: We balance tradition and technology. Organic fertilizers and natural pest controls keep our crops and livestock healthy, while smart water-management techniques (like drip irrigation) save water and energy.
Full-Cycle Agribusiness: We handle the entire farm value chain. Beyond planting and rearing, we process and package products for market, often collaborating with local factories to turn raw crops into finished goods. This integrated approach ensures a steady supply for partners and good returns for investors.
Community Partnerships: We train and support neighboring smallholder farmers, sharing improved techniques and seeds. By doing so, we strengthen local food systems and help create new farming entrepreneurs.

OUR TEAM
Dennis Nana Ansah Acquah – Founder & CEO. A lifelong farmer and agribusiness expert, Dennis leads EdOak Farms with the vision that started in his childhood. He has extensive experience in agricultural marketing, consultancy and training, and he guides our strategy and growth.
Nelson Anoff – Farm Operations Manager. Nelson oversees daily farm activities on our Northern and Eastern Region sites. With a background in agricultural science, he ensures our crops flourish and our animals thrive, managing everything from planting schedules to veterinary care.
Our Dedicated Experts: Our team also includes agronomists, livestock specialists, technicians and business developers. Each member brings passion and expertise – from soil scientists and veterinarians to supply-chain coordinators and finance managers – all aligned with our mission of sustainable growth.
